First Crop Of Spring Sales

Gambling time! Retailers are beginning to mark down their Spring styles. Will you wait to see the price go lower or nab what you want now to make sure you get your size? I think that if there's something you've been coveting all season, go for it, and wait and stalk anything else.

Here are my current top picks from the first round of sales. More to come soon!

Summerland: Refinery29 Shops Offer, Spend $75, get $150

It's the last day for this great deal. Summerland is currently having a promotion with Refinery29 where you buy a voucher for $75 and get a credit for $150 to redeem in the shop. There are some whopping deals to be had because the sale section is already packed with lots of goodies up to 70% off.

1. Nighthawk Clutch, Seaecho for Summerland $68
Way to add some impact to your outfit. You can't go wrong with a black/white/mustard combo in my book.
2. Tightrope Blouse, Alexandra Grecco $256
I've been eying this style for a while--it's cool and versatile and something I know I'd wear a lot.
3. Number Six Suglasses, Karen Walker $170
The covetable Karen Walker sunglasses rarely go on sale so this is a great opportunity to score a deal.

G1 Goods: No coupon needed.

I just recently discovered G1 clothing and love the sophisticated color palette and utilitarian styles which are chock full of details. It looks like they use really nice fabrics too. These are clothes to live in every day. I find the prices already surprisingly affordable but there are some especially great deals in the sale section right now.

1. Bedford Cord Blazer, $198 $99
This looks very English landed gentry to me and like something I might wear 200 days a year for the next 7 years.
2. Florist Shirt, $138 $69
You can't see them in the picture but this has fabric-covered buttons which are THE BEST. I don't know what it is about them. Plus it's called the "Florist Shirt" which is so charming.
3. Bedford Cord Pant, $142 $71
I pretty much ignore pants except for sailor pants and pallazzo's but these had me looking twice. I dig the vintage-style details and relaxed legs.

Creatures of Comfort:  No code needed.

A lot of the styles at Creatures of Comfort are too avant-garde for my taste but I'm all over their great selection of Repetto and Rachel Comey--a couple of my personal favorite lines.

I love the slouchy shape and neutral palette of this little jacket.
I looovvveee 40's style platform shoes--high heels for cheaters. This color looks very cool to me and I love the high vamp.
I have internal battles about a lot of APC styles. They often look like something you could find at the Gap but for 4 times the price. But the reality is that they are better than the similar Gap styles, so when they are on sale I suddenly see their true virtue. When I'm staring at my closet in the morning these are the trusty friends I want to wear. And wear. And wear.

J. Crew:  Extra 30% off with MUSTHAVE through July 9th.

J. Crew's sale section if feast or famine and right now it's a necco-flavored feast. Plus, through the 9th you can save an extra 30% off.

1. Little Edie Purse, $119.99 $83.30
I'm a sucker for anything named after Little Edie but I also love that this sharp little purse would work great into Fall.
This vivid pink will put a little rose in your cheek and I love the relaxed 70's shape.
You really can't go wrong by investing in a quality pair of classic sunglasses during the Spring sales.

Beklina: No code needed

It's exciting when Beklina begins to do their seasonal markdowns making some of those out-of-reach styles seem like reasonable splurges.

I'm so in love with this cool checkerboard top. Wouldn't it look amazing with an armload of red Bakelite bangles? And what a crazy good deal!
2. Mineral Necklaces, $95 $75
Delicate but powerful, refined but raw, these mineral necklaces are really speaking to me (and they're saying buy me! Buy me!).
I love the simple and flattering shape of this dress and pass the mustard please, you know I love it.
