High Waist Briefs From 10 Undies

I can never understand why there isn't more vintage-style high-waisted underwear on the market. Once I bought a pair of cotton grannie panties at Ross that I dyed blue to satisfy my cravings. I think the low-cut leg and high-waist is the most slimming and flattering cut when it comes to undies (or swimwear).

Take it from ballet dancers, who have learned from hours scrutinizing their physiques in front of full-length mirrors that this is most flattering--go into any ballet rehearsal and guarantee you that nary a high-cut leotard will be found.

So, it was with much excitement that stumbled across this new line called 10 Undies which features a retro high-waisted brief. In honesty, I was really excited at first because I was thinking you got 10 undies for $45, when that's really the cost of a single pair. So I'll stick with my Target briefs for everyday but I will be happy to splurge on a pair of red panties that I'm sure Bridgette Bardot would approve of. And aren't the photos adorable?!

Which ones at target are similar? I've bought the ones that come in a 3-pak. They aren't as high!
I love your blog btw. Just discovered it on a search for CP Shades...

Hi Kelly--thanks for stopping by and for your kind words! You're right. Target make any high waisted undies like these (I wish they did!), but they are my favorite source for basic cotton panties in flattering cuts. I'm always on the lookout for new sources though--please stay tuned!
